Recipe: Cobb Salad

Well, honestly, this is hardly a recipe. This is more a call to action! Cobb salad is amazing and delicious and more trouble than it's worth, probably, on a weeknight. But, invite some gals over, get everyone working at prepping the ingredients -- you cut the cucumbers while I boil the eggs. Arrange everything in little bowls so you get exactly the proportion of bacon to salad that you're looking for. And dig in. And don't feel bad about reaching for seconds. Or thirds. Hey! It's salad.

CLASSIC INGREDIENTS FOR COBB SALAD

Roasted chicken
Sliced Avocado
Bacon
Hard boiled eggs
Cucumber
Red onion
Tomatoes
Blue cheese
Boston Bibb Butter Lettuce (whatever it's called)

And I like a classic Dijon vinaigrette on it, but I think something creamy is traditional.
