I've been watching through season 3 of Mary Tyler Moore (which I do not own, but which is available on Hulu), falling in love all over again with the hilarious and profound insights of Mary Richards. Who needs Sex in the City, kids. Mary's been through it all, with better friendships, funnier lines, and much less whining.
This one had me in stitches from the first scene. Cloris Leachman is just one of the funniest women in the business, and her antagonistic relationship with Rhoda is at it's peak here. Plus, Georgette makes her first appearance, and has Ted smitten.
Ps. The theme song is the best theme song ever. I never skip it.
