  1. "Heiwa" means "Peace." The particle "Wo" (pronounced "o" in modern Japanese) is the direct object indicator. Which suggests to me that the title is not so much a vocative ("Here, peace; here peace!) but peace as an object to be attained, desired, etc. No way to translate that, really.
