New Shop: Fifteen/Eleven

One of my favorite DC bloggers, Suann Song of the blog Simple Song, has recently opened a charming little stationary store in Old Town Alexandria.  Called Fifteen/Eleven (named after their street address, 1511 King Street), it is a few blocks from the metro (and across the street from The Book Bank).

If you go, you're likely to meet the charming Ms. Song (pictured, above), who will enthusiastically talk with you about the shop and her favorite places to go in Alexandria.  She has flawless taste, and picks the very best from designers like Rifle Paper Co., Linda & Harriet, and Mr. Boddington's Studio.

And she doesn't only carry cards: she has bakers-twine, notepads, wrapping paper, Baggu bags, Shauna Murray wall decals, and other charming, lovely, useful items for your office of home. (and her beautiful wall calendars) The shop is small, as is the selection, but everything is of such high quality, and so thoughtfully selected and presented.  Go in and be delighted.
