Gaudete! Gaudete!

(The First and the last are the versions I grew up with. The Middle is by the English pop group Medieval Babes. And the third is by The Kings Singers--I like hope peppy it is.)
Gaudete! gaudete!
Christus est natus ex Maria virgine,
gaudete!

Tempus adest gratiae, hoe quod optabamus;
carmina laetitiae devote reddamus. Refrain

Deus homo factus est, natura mirante;
mundus renovatus est a Christo regnante. Refrain

Ezecaelis orta clausa per transistur;
unde lux est orta, salus invenitur. Refrain

Ergo nostra contio psallat iam in lustro;
Benedicat Domino; salus regi nostro. Refrain
This carol is, by the way, the most fun song to sing as a kid--we all learned it in grade school and just belted it out. It was so much fun we used to sing it on the playground and while running up to class, and on long car rides, even when it wasn't Christmas. And now that I think about it, that we must have been rather charming and delightful.

ps. Here's a translation.

    I fondly remember sitting in your parents' family room listening to those recordings.
