Jazz Love: Feelin' Good

After a long (but quick--28 hours total) road trip this weekend, I need a pick-me-up.  So we'll start the week with Michael Buble.  If only I could blast this every morning as I wake up.  I think Myrna would be upset about that, though.

This song is from the 1965 musical The Roar of the Greasepaint, but achieved popularity in the jazz world after Nina Simone recorded it on I Put a Spell on You. That recording is vastly superior, jazz-wise.

It was also recorded by Muse--which strikes me as odd. It is hard and mean and was voted the #1 cover of all time in the UK, for what it's worth.
