Hello, We're Talking about Language

Some mid-day humor for you: a fun, somewhat tongue-in-cheek rant on the English language "as spoken by us" by comedian Stephen Fry.

Point: "If you don't like nouns becoming verbs, then for heaven's sake avoid Shakespeare who made a do-ing word out of a thing-word every chance he got. He tabled the motion and chaired the meeting in which nouns were made verbs."

Counterpoint: Tricky Linguistics from season one of A Bit of Fry and Laurie.
