Five Photos November: Part 1

Before I get to my post, can I just say: THANK YOU!  I got such wonderful, comforting, enthusiastic responses from everyone for my new jam shop yesterday.  It was like a great big huge hug from every single person I love. You all shared it on FB, and posted, and sent emails, and it was just the best way to start the week! (And I even sold some!  Thanks TWT!)

Now, for the post:  Every Sunday Saturday in the month of November, RCA and I are taking photos to document the day.  We'll be posting them the following Tuesday.  (I am using real film, so theres a drag for development time.)  We were inspired by the awesome 10.10.10 project.

I spent the day in Alexandria, and the evening at a party celebrating my friend, P, a newly minted Doctor of Philosophy (with distinction). There were sparklers involved and a bonfire, and if I could, I'd make all five of my photos be of sparklers.  But I shall restrain myself.
