Friends: I will be basically travelling for the next three weeks, so postings will be sporadic.
First off, I am going to DC this weekend, to celebrate my great-aunt's 76th birthday. My aunt is wonderfully chic, and we haven't seen each other in several months, so it will be fun to visit with her. We're going to a Tapas place in the new Rockville Center. It better be good, because they tore down an amazing local shop in a humble strip mall to build this place.
Next stop: Princeton, NJ. The Miller Center's annual conference is there for the next two weeks, and I will be in attendence for a couple days. Hopefully, I'll be able to shop Palmer Square, and stop by my favorite home shop, to see if they still have the cake stand I pine for, but never get around to buying.
After that I am going to Quebec City, Quebec, for the Honor's Program. It'll be good to go back to that city, now that I know something about it. And then, a day long train, on Dominion Day, to Peterborough, ON to visit my old friends, the Pembertons. The Mrs. will be 8 months pregnant, so I'll spend the entire time chasing the two year old around. It'll be a ball!!!
I return from that on July 5th, thus spending another Idependence Day in Canada. Alas. Anyway, you'll hear from me definately sometime after that--if not before.
In the meantime, check out the blogs and links to the left--they're all great.
